Sky has spent time as a filmmaker, film educator, and community organizer. He believes art can serve as a vehicle for meditative experiences and social change. He is passionate about practicing Thích Nhất Hạnh’s Engaged Buddhism, and feels especially called to work towards liberation alongside BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ folks. He enjoys dancing when no one is looking and writing music with friends in Joshua Tree.
