Paula SnowDirector of Operations

Growing up in New Hampshire makes the winter season in Big Bear feel just like home! I come to BBRC with a strong background in culinary arts, event management, and hospitality, as well as a deep love of logistics and planning. I have been sitting retreat and studying mindfulness for about 10 years in a variety of traditions and locations and am a graduate of the MMTCP mindfulness teacher training program with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. I’m a firm believer in doing the inner work, personal growth, and accountability, as well as being of service to others and driving positive social change through compassionate action. I’m also honored to serve on the board of directors of Dhammadharini Monestary, the first monastic community for Theravāda bhikkhunīs in the western United States and am very passionate about supporting monastic life and gender equality in the fourfold sangha.

I love spending time in nature, hiking, gardening, paddleboarding and bungee jumping!
