Relational Mindfulness: Finding Freedom and Authenticity in How We Relate [Online Half-Day]

With Deborah Eden Tull and Enrique Collazo

October 26 - 27, 2024

Saturday October 26th, 9:00am – 12:00pm PST
This online half day retreat is open to both beginners and experienced practitioners.

We all struggle at times with how to bring meditation off the cushion and into the beautiful, dynamic, and messy realm of relationships. Relational Mindfulness helps us to bring presence, compassion, clear-seeing, and authenticity to how we relate — whether we are at work, with family, on a date, navigating conflict, or engaging with world issues. This transformative practice helps us remember that the quality of every relationship we will ever have stems from the quality of our relationship with ourselves. It reminds us of the strength in our sensitivity and vulnerability.

This experiential workshop offers illuminating, playful, and heart-opening practices that can be integrated into everyday life. It is appropriate for both experienced meditators and those new to practice. Our time together will involve meditation, relational mindfulness practices, dharma reflections, conscious movement, and facilitated group discussion. With Eden and Enrique, return to a simple understanding—that the subtlest form of love is attention—something we can only remember when we are present.

Enrique and Eden are co-leading this year’s New Year’s retreat at the Big Bear Retreat Center, and this workshop can offer you a glimpse into the transformative dharma space they hold together.

Registration for this program closes at start: October 26, 2024 at 9:00am Pacific Time.
