Marinated & Grilled Bok Choy

A perfect addition to this summer’s grill menu. This bok choy recipe is a great option for healthy and hearty vegetarian cuisine. You can add these to a fresh summer salad to mix things up as well.

4 teaspoons sesame oil

2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced

⅔ inch piece ginger root, peeled and minced

⅙ teaspoon red-pepper flakes, or to taste

2 ⅔ tablespoons Tamari

1 ¼ pounds of bok choy or baby bok choy, cleaned, with the ends trimmed

Combine all ingredients except bok choy in a large bowl.

Step 2

Add the bok choy and coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes, or up to 4 hours.

Step 3

Preheat the grill and grill until tender. 

Chop bok choy and return to any remaining marinade, toss then finish in the oven.
