My people are from Hong Kong and Southern China and I was born and raised in Canada. I go by Ling mostly, but also answer to Charlene. My role at Big Bear is to consult on program planning, support with community development and organizational priorities.

I come to this work with a background in marketing, communications and public relations, as well as 5+ years as the Program Director at Hollyhock. I believe deeply in the retreat model as catalyst for life-transforming experiences. I’ve spent most of my life at sea level or close to it, so I’m enjoying the contrast of a mountainous climate and living at 7,000 feet altitude!
